The new Alphensia town is new and adds to the other ski resorts in Korea. We were very excited, especially the kids as they really wanted to experience skiing.
Being new, the place was not crowded (probably it was not the weekend) and everything works nicely.
We were brought to a place to rent our skiing gear, for those who want to ski.
The ski resort was beautifully lighted up during the night. Even the snow slopes look so beautiful.
The next day and the kids were full of anticipation.
The boys had a good time skiing and therefter, being hungry, we went to try Korea's own fast food, Lotteria. Not too bad.
At the resort, there was also a water theme park with very nice hot spring. One of the highlights of the trip was going out to the hot spring into the cold winter air. It was really very nice, feeling both hot and cold at the same time. Very relaxing.
We had a really good time at this place and hope we will be back again soon.
