We stayed at The Traders Hotel in Singapore during our recent trip. I have not bben to this hotel for so many years and was worried that it's age may be showing. However, according to the reviews on the internet, it is still a good place to stay. Moreover, being under the Shangri-la Hotel Group, it is quite reassuring.

While the hotel may be old, the condition and maintenance is considered very good. Everything worked well and it's not like it is breaking down. Staff is also very efficient and fast in solving issues.

However, hotel is located in a residential area but has a small mall next door. Hotel provides shuttle service to Orchard Road. As we drove, it is not an issue for us.
It was raining rain daily and it did hamper our movements but it also cool down the weather.
