Deoksyu Palace in Seoul, Korea

This was the first place that our tour to Korea took us to. The weather was cold and we were quite sleepy after a whole night flight from Kuala Lumpur.

Before going to the palace, we were brought to the tourist centre and drove past the President's Blue House.

When we reached the palace, the ceremonial changing of guards were just about to take place. It was a really interesting experience and also interesting to note that this place has been rebuilt to its former glory not too long ago.

One could see a lot of similarity of architecture and customs between the Koreans and Chinese as their history has been intertwined for thousands of years.

View of the city centre from the palace.

Another view of the city centre.

I suppose this was good start to the tour and the cold air also managed to perk up everyone.

Until the next time, cheers.
