DIRTY TOILETS IN PWTC

When I was in PWTC recently, I must say that I was quite shocked to see the condition of the toilets there. It was old, dirty and not working well at all. The WCs did not flush well and not maintained at all.

I was there at around 10am and to see it that dirty so early in the morning means that no maintenance was done at all. Imagine the condition at the end of the day.

Dirty and old toilet seat fittings.

WC not flushing well at all. Imagine if it is a big job....yuks.

No toilet paper at 10am?

Look at the dirt.....phew.

Dirty and smelly urinals.

This place being marketed as a premier exhibition centre does not reflect well at all to the owners and managers of the building.

I hope that they will do something about this very soon and not give Malaysia a bad name for the condition of the toilets.

Until the next time, cheers.

MATTA FAIR, 4-6 SEP 2009

I went with my wife to the semi annual MATTA fair which is on travel and holidays. Due to the economic condition as well as the H1N1 virus, I expected it not to be very crowded. I was there early and well, it was not. However, by the time we left, it was really crowded, just right timing.

Empty lines to purchase entrance tickets

However, the organisers took good precaution by giving away free masks and also placing hand sanitizers.

Some even took the opportunity to make some sales for masks and sanitizers, like this below.

There were many booths offering holidays to almost everywhere. However, it was divided between local and international halls.

Even there were booths outside the exhibition (before the entrance).

Airlines, certain destinations and country pavillions had their own booths to promote their products and locations.

There was Air Asia, one of the busiest place....as people could book their airtickets as well.

Firefly Airlines,

Taiwan booth,

Thailand booth,

Macau booth,

Hong Kong Disneyland,

Gold Coast, Australia,

Even a Macau bus, outside.

Overall, it is always a good place to look for bargains or better prices but one must know exactly where and when is the intended trip or else, you will be more confused.

On another note, the river flowing outside the PWTC has been cleaned and it looks much better now. You could actually enjoy looking at it now.

A view of KL Tower too,

Until next time, cheers.
