Bebek Tepi Sawah in Ubud, Bali

During our recent trip to Bali in April 2013, we went to Ubud twice and on the second trip, we tried this restaurant. When I reached the place, it dawned on me that we were at this same place 10 years ago but it was called Tepi Sawah only. They probably changed the name to Bebek Tepi Sawah to reflect the speciality of its duck dishes.

They have expanded the place much larger than before and when I asked the staff here, they said that the restaurant opened 12 years ago. They even have an handicraft gallery next to the restaurant.

Whilst the decoration was beautiful, we are here for the food!!! Each of us had a plate of their duck dish..most opted for the fried whilst I went for the grilled. We had additional dishes to complement our hungry stomachs.

Gado gado
Grilled bebek
Fried bebek
Fried bebek with green sauce
Fried kangkung
Soto soup
Satay babi
Pecel
Everyone agreed that the grilled duck was the best. The food here were also very good what more with the sambals. One also had to eat with one's hands to enjoy the meal fully.

Overall, we went back to the hotel, happy.

Until the next time, cheers.
