We went to this restaurant for a Mother's Day lunch in May 2013. This restaurant is popular and part of the The Oriental Group of Restaurants. However, only 2 of their restaurants serve buffett lunches on weekends with the Noble House new Jalan Imbi being the other one.
The buffetts are very popular and are full nearly all the time. Being Mother's Day, there will be no place even if you book a week before. Prices are very reasonable and food quality is not bad. It is certainly value for money and testament to this is the full crowd every weekend.
As we booked rather late, we were given the upstairs table and it was a bit of an exercise having to go up and down to get your food. An optimist will probably quipped that we can eat more with the exercise but then again, the kiasuness appears.
Popular dishes will attract long queues and this include the barbeque meats, teochew braised meats and Peking ducks.
Mix plates of meats. Good. |
Cold dishes. Good quality. |
Some fried stuff. |
There were a lot more food but I did not want to take too many photos with the place being so crowded. The spread was extensive enough that you will not be able to cover all the food unless you have a real huge appetite.
